Hock Cheong was established as a dealer for Mobil in 1968 operating the petrol kiosk in the initial years. A very successful automotive workshop operation followed. In the 1980s, we were the pioneers when automated carwash was introduced in Singapore. It also enjoyed great success.
We have adopted a strategy that strives to provide a network of automotive related operations throughout Singapore. We have currently established operations for 9 automotive workshops, 22 carwash sites and an automotive paint booth workshop. The span of our operations provides the critical mass on which we can leverage for business development and future strategic expansions.
We continually strengthen our management team through personnel additions, ensuring we are poised for the next phase of business development. The management is constantly reviewing the external environment changes, improving and leveraging upon current operations to be well placed for future developments, influencing automotive trends within Singapore and beyond.
